Conformity assessment (certification) of products from China.

Today, Chinese industry occupies one of the leading positions in the export of various products to the European Union. China is one of the leaders in global exports, including supplies to the EU, ranking first in the world in terms of industrial production, exporting a wide range of goods — from textiles and electronics to mechanical engineering — and strengthening its status as a global manufacturing power with constant growth in quality and share in global exports.

Many European accreditation bodies cooperate with the Chinese accreditation body (CNAS) and other Chinese organizations through various product safety working groups. This cooperation helps European and Chinese manufacturers reduce the time and financial costs of conformity assessment (certification) for various products.

ILAC MRA enables Chinese manufacturers to access the European market by testing their products in Chinese laboratories.

According to European legislation, products placed on the EU market for the first time must be safe and are subject to conformity assessment.

The European accredited product certification body SIA International Centre for Quality Certification – ICQC offers manufacturers of electrical, electronic and mechanical products to conduct conformity assessment, with the right to affix the CE marking to their products and issue a certificate of conformity.

Our company offers support to Chinese manufacturers by providing up-to-date information on product certification in accordance with EU rules and standards. Our staff has in-depth knowledge of European Union legislation in the field of product certification, and our experts monitor changes in European technical legislation and harmonized standards.

According to the requirements of Regulation 2019/1020, technical documentation confirming the conformity of products with EU requirements must be kept in the EU by the responsible person. Information about the responsible person, including their name and contact details, must be marked on the product or in the passport.

Timely product certification ensures that your goods will not be detained, and you will avoid fines and problems with regulatory authorities when exporting to the European Union.
