India recognizes ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) and IAF (International Accreditation Forum) agreements, which means that test/calibration results and certificates issued by organizations accredited by IAF/ILAC members are recognized internationally, including in the European Union.

SIA International Centre for Quality Certification (ICQC) has been cooperating with Indian companies for a long time, including testing laboratories for the conformity assessment of electrical products, electromagnetic compatibility, mechanical engineering and products intended for potentially explosive atmospheres. One of our freelance employees is an Indian citizen who specializes in mechanical engineering and potentially explosive atmospheres.

By testing their products in an Indian laboratory, manufacturers can obtain a European Union certificate of conformity for their products, saving time and money on testing in the EU.
